Purchase and Sales Agreements
When
a buyer and a seller have reached an informal
agreement, whether on their own (in Mexico, “For
Sale by Owner” is called “Trato Directo”) or through
a real estate agency, they formalize the process
through a purchase/sale agreement. This is a
contract in which both the buyer and the seller put
down in writing such conditions as the amount of
earnest money, the sale price, and the closing date,
between others.
We
have a sample bilingual purchase/sale agreement for
our clients to use as a guide in their negotiations.
Once you have decided on the details, we will be
happy to incorporate your changes and have them
reviewed by the Mexican attorneys who work with us.
Reasonable changes and modifications are included in
our flat fee.
